Digital Wallets
Zenith supports Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Alipay+ as digital wallet payment methods. Wallets appear on your integration whenever they are enabled on your merchant account.
Availability
Digital wallets are available on Hosted Checkout and Payment Links. They are not available as a direct REST API payment method — wallets require a browser surface to render the wallet button and collect the wallet credential.
Apple Pay#
Apple Pay is offered through Zenith wherever the merchant has Apple Pay enabled on their account.
Device availability#
Due to Apple restrictions, Apple Pay can only be processed on Apple devices. On non-apple devices, a QR code will be displayed to scan on an Apple device.
Integration setup#
Enabling Apple Pay on a Hosted Checkout integration requires a domain verification step (placing a file in .well-known). That step is only needed when you host the ZenPay JavaScript Plugin yourself.
Payment Links are fully Zenith-hosted, so merchants using Payment Links do not need to do any Apple Pay domain verification.
See Hosted Checkout → Apple Pay for the plugin-specific domain verification steps.
